Several area businesses were invited to participate in a special program to recognize and honor an individual that lives and/or works in our Mendocino Coast Communities. Through the donations of their time and expertise in support of local business and in helping others, this individual has contributed to the economic development and enhancement of the communities in which they live, work, and conduct business.

Modeled after similar programs in Marin and Sonoma Counties, the Mendocino Coast Spirit Award gives the Mendocino Coast business community the unique opportunity to honor leaders and collectively highlight their success. Awards will be presented on October 19 at the 2006 Mendocino Coast Economic Outlook Conference.
