Mendocino County is the gateway to the Northern California region. Located along the Pacific Coast, it is on the Highway 101 corridor and within a 2 hour drive of the San Francisco Bay area. Mendocino County boasts a rural lifestyle with a rich diversity of cultural and recreational opportunities. There are 4 incorporated cities: Fort Bragg, Point Arena, Willits, and Ukiah, the county seat. Our traditional industries are timber manufacturing, fishing, tourism and the wine industry. Mendocino County is an excellent place to work, live and play.
